The typical PUD customers uses more water in some months than in others. This means water bills will be higher in some months than in others. For the convenience of our customers, Thurston PUD have created the Equal Payment Plan.

The Equal Payment Plan (EPP) spreads your water bills into equal installments over a 12-month period, so you’ll always know how much your bill will be.

How it Works

When you enroll in EPP, Thurston PUD bills you an estimated, equal amount each month, based past water usage. Throughout the year, we may review your usage to ensure there are no abnormal spikes like water leaks.

Every 12 months, we will balance what you’ve paid with your actual usage. If the amount you paid is less than your actual usage, you’ll receive a bill. If you’ve paid more than your actual usage, you’ll receive a credit. For 2020, we will calculate your amount to make sure you’re on track. At the 12-month mark, we’ll calculate your new EPP amount for the following year.

Open enrollment is from February 1 – March 31.
